At Baird Family Garden, Joey grows nonstandard varieties such as eight ball zucchini and banana cantaloupe, an heirloom variety he remembers from childhood. Saturdays during the summer market, find these heirlooms along with watermelons, scallop squash, straight neck squash, chocolate cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, and lots of other summer produce. Joey’s mantra is, “if you’re too afraid to try something new, you’ll never know how it might turn out!”

Cherry Creek Orchards
Acres of peach trees, rows upon rows of strawberries and blackberries, plus tomatoes, peas, beans and okra in the summer. Savor the seasons with local produce from a local Pontotoc orchard.

Growing more every season, Scott Cline of Cline Produce specializes in peppers and hot sauces and also produces watermelons, okra, tomatoes. Stop by the market on Saturdays for advice on the heat scale, unusual varieties and cooking methods!

Blueberries, summer produce, herbs and plants, Connor’s Garden has a nice variety at the market! Don’t miss their off-the-beaten-track jams and jellies such as watermelon rind pickles, strawberry kiwi and basil jelly.
Fresh Patch
Lucky for us, Mark has retired from his profession as an sweet potato researcher at the Mississippi State Pontotoc Ridge Experiment Station and is able to spend more time growing produce! Visit the market on summer Saturdays for tomatoes, purple hull peas, melons, corn and more!

Summer produce, especially watermelons! You’ll want to be at the market early to pick up Brady’s sought-after peas and summer produce!
🥕 Patterson Farm Co.
Patterson Farm Co. is a family-run farm owned and operated by Brandon and Emily Patterson, with help from their sons, Lincoln and Bently. The farm began with a small garden inspired by Emily’s passion for healthy eating and has grown into a local source for fresh, seasonal produce nearly year-round.
You’ll find Patterson Farm Co. selling their harvest Saturdays during the summer at Pontotoc Farmers Market, offering quality produce straight from their fields to your table.
Horganically Grown
A recent retiree from the North Mississippi Research and Extension Center in Verona, Horticulturist Thomas Horgan now has more time to devote to growing produce. We’re excited to welcome him to the Pontotoc Farmers Market!
Madge Mount Farm
A handmade, homemade, home-grown farm in Pontotoc County. Brandy of Madge Mount Farm is new to the market this year with plans to grow summer produce!
